Caseloads average around 40 and we take a workload approach when determining the distribution of work. Speech-language pathologists provide an integral role in our educational system and are essential members within our EMLSS framework.

REPORTS TO: Building Principal
Qualifications Include the Ability, Desire and Passion to:
- Serve a full range of disorders and work as part of a collaborative team to ensure student needs are met throughout their 4k - 12 experience
- Knowledge of systems of service to the school-aged speech and language impaired
- Knowledge of standardized and criterion-referenced speech and language assessments
- Knowledge of assistive technology, including Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)
- Knowledge of formal and informal therapy materials and their application to address individual student needs
- Knowledge of the Individualized Educational Plans (IEP) and ability to construct written reports and other required IEP elements Ability to communicate students’ needs to parents, staff and administration
Salary - based on prior experience; entry level $53,000
